Agent to morrisons last night and they had sandwiches marked down so I brought a cheese and onion one for 9p !!!! Thinking that should save me a job before work eat it at lunch time then looked at the packet thinking it would be around 250 calories but was 450 !!!! Was very nice though going to be a small dinner now

Yesh, I've been caught out with salads that way too 😊 But 450 calories not bad if you feel full and satisfied 😊

Hi gareth0073. I went to buy a sandwich in Costa the other day and was stunned at the calorie counts in them. Most were over 450 calories. Maybe they put a lot of spread on the bread - I don't have it in sandwiches so it keeps the calories down. Glad you enjoyed it anyway :)

The most frustrating thing is when you've considered the calories and decided to take the plunge only to be disappointed on the taste and texture. For 9p and you enjoyed your lunch I'm sure you'll forgive yourself?
