Hi all, so day 4 was a complete write of I had therapy yesterday which was difficult and I turned to food. So I'm feeling quite disappointed today, but I'm moving on and starting a fresh today. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with these days it's twice a week so I need to master it, thanks. Liane

Therapy can be very harrowing, could you ask your therapist to end each session with something positive and up-beat to set you back on your feet? Or perhaps treat yourself to a non-edible treat on the way home, perhaps a magazine or a bunch of flowers.
Well MW50's ideas are great. A non eating treat can really get you out of the food as consolation/celebration. But another option is to plan a treat for each of these days that fits in with your diet. Pick the absolute perfect thing, the absolute best version, size etc and sit and enjoy it in peace. It might not be your previous go to treat because it does have to fit in. And it would have to be something that doesn't trigger a binge. I sometimes have a skinny latte with sugar free hazelnut syrup in it as my treat. I find both Caffe Nero and Costa do this. But I have never been someone who is tempted by all the eats they endlessly offer in coffee shops. So that works for me. If I haven't got enough spare kcal for that, I swop to a ginger and lemon black tea. As that is a zero. But still feels special. What would give you a special feeling afterwards?
Our brains are hot wired to make us want to over eat whenever we are tired, stressed or emotional 😕 I would work round it, maybe allow a few extra calories and be kind to yourself, you can eat less on other, less stressful days 😊 Good luck
