Hi Rob,

I just saw another article that I liked - so as it's relevant to the topic you're discussing, I hope you don't mind if I link to it here:

medicaldaily.com/how-much-w...

Personally, I tend to rely on teas and coffees as my liquid intake, and I have maybe 2 glasses of water from the tap on top of that, but I tend to drink those inbetween meals - i.e. maybe 1 glass mid morning and 1 in the mid afternoon, rather than 'with' meals.   I drink more if I do some exercise, as I'll take a bottle of water with me to the gym.

I think I need to drink a little more than I do currently, but not too much more.  I often go by the colour of my urine to tell if I'm dehydrated or not - and adjust accordingly!

How do you feel about your water intake, and what do you think of the articles?

Lowcal :-)

I haven't read this yet but it reminded me of a conversation I had with a family member who's into serious training for powerlifting competition.  She told me how important it was to drink lots of water.  Her diet is seriously controlled but there's obviously a lot of truth to this
