well done hun, a loss is always a loss.

They say it takes 4 weeks for us to notice any changes ourselves, 8 weeks for our nearest and dearest to notice and 12 weeks for everyone else to notice, so don't be too hard on yourself if you can't see a difference yet. Photos are the best way to see changes, and when you've got a few weeks or months worth to compare, you'll be so pleased that you can see the changes x

Morning! I agree with fussybird - in the past I've lost weight quickly (and then put it back on shamefully quickly). This time I'm absolutely determined to do it slowly - if I am with other people I just eat sensibly, my objective is that they should not have reason to think about my eating during our time together. It's working, my head is together, the weight loss is slow but happening. I started at 12st 8lb in Sept and am now 11 st 3lb. I am aiming to drift down to 10st 8lb and then see how I feel about life and my body in particular!

In the past when I've lost weight quickly, people only notice once the first stone has gone and then the compliments come thick and fast (rather nice to be honest - but it's probably only fuelled my slightly unhinged determination to lose as fast as possible!). But this time, as I've lost it slowly any changes are rather less dramatic, I haven't really changed my wardrobe and no-one has said anything at all.

Well done for the photos though - you'll be very chuffed with yourself when you look back in a few months time. Keep up the good work!
