My little bus trip.

Today was a big day for me, MrRfc and I had an adventure, we walked to our nearest bus stop and took a bus to our favourite coffee shop and had a little walk round some shops.

It was so nice to get out of the house for a while and feel "normal". Sometimes old routines bring comfort even though it was a big undertaking for us both we both did it and we really felt a sense of achievement for the day.

I am planning to increase my walks by the weekend so I hit our nearest petrol station and as I treat I have promised myself I can buy and eat any chocolate bar I want. So looking forward to my little treat when I manage that walk. I am trying to eat healthily while I'm out of action.

Health and happiness to you all

Rfc x.

How did you both feel after the walk RFC?

Good, I still took everything really slowly but it was so nice to do something that felt like normal to me. MrRfc is so much further on with his recovery but his operation was a little less invasive as the put the kidney in the front right hand side rather than going to the back like they had to with me. His main thing is loads of tablets that make him a little speedy right now and can't sleep.

I love your attitude! Little successes, and chocolate at the end! That's my kind of thinking xx
