Vitamin B12
Just wondering what is classed as optimal B12 with Hashimoto’s? Mine is 84.7 (37.5-150). I don’t take it for a week before blood tests due to it affecting thyroid results. Recently been feeling lightheaded, tingly and getting lots of head rushes and mild headaches and sensitivity to light so trying

Importance of vitamin B12
Interesting - Researchers report that depletion of dietary
vitamin
B12
(which induces propionate breakdown) & propionate supplementation suppress neurodegeneration & reverse Parkinsons-associated transcriptomic aberrations (in C. elegans) https://www.cell.com/cell-reports/fulltext/S2211-1247(24)00193

Some help
While not a cure I have found that
vitamin
B12
helps. My feet are less painful since I started taking it in spite of not really believing in it!

Naturally high vitamin B12
I have had a few tests over the last few years which include
Vitamin
B12
. I am worried that I may not be transporting it to cells as it is very high fir someone does not take supplements. See photo? Everything I question this the doctor just says we'll that's good isn't it. Is it?

Supplementing Vitamin B12
Back in May / June, my B12 was tested and was double the top of range at 1800 n/mol. GP told me to stop supplementing for the time being. I was surprised that it was this high after only as I’d only been supplementing since January having been quite low at 500. Taking one a day Thorne’s Stress formula

How to wean off omeprazole
I’ve just had some blood tests done prior to some surgery and the results show there may be a problem with
vitamin
B12
levels. Hmm, I take 20mg omeprazole daily, in capsule form. Anyone any idea of the best way to come off this? I believe I’ll have to gradually wean off it?

Vitamin/mineral deficiencies
I had a
vitamin
b12
level done recently and it was just above the borderline/normal range. Not low enough to treat. Has anyone seen a link between
vitamin
b12
and iron levels and pbc? Thanks
