Cod Liver oil in TTC? Mega confused 🫤
I used to take a cod liver oil supplement up until last year when I became pregnant and read that you shouldn’t take it because it contains
vitamin
a
which is bad for baby. However I’ve read that it is good for fertility.

a
recent blood test my serum

A
level was registered at 99.5mcg/dL with the lab's reference levels between 30 and 80mcg/dL. I've had
vitamin
A
tested only once before in April last year and it too was high at 99.3.

Vitamin deficiency and muscle loss
what about
Vitamin
A
, B6, E and K ? I believe they too are fat soluble. I presume those too would be low. do vitamin supplements in tablet form work ? Or do I need to look at other ways to boost those vitamins.

People with high blood levels of niacin, (vitamin B3), may be more likely to have a heart attack or stroke than those with lower levels
In fact,
vitamin
E and beta carotene,
a
source of
vitamin
A
, have been linked to an increased risk of cancer.

Health factory liquid nano iron
I have problems with the standard iron tablets given by GPs, even if I take it with
vitamin
C.
A
dietician told me today that I ought to take liquid Nano iron. She said it has far higher absorption, no constipation etc.

Common Vitamin Deficiencies in PD?
I want to get
a
Vitamin
deficiency blood test and I am wondering what vitamins to test for. The big ones I know I am going to look for are B1, B12 and D. Any other vitamins or non vitamins to look for?

bizarre turnaround
Since then I’ve lost 5lbs (diet and exercises) started taking
vitamin
b complex,
vitamin
d and
a
general health
vitamin
to improve ferritin etc. Doctor did
a
full blood panel, everything normal, only tested TSH. (Now at 1).

Chat with GP. Disappointed.
They’ve prescribed
a
loading dose (high
vitamin
D) for
a
while. Folic acid despite me feeling like that’s useless unless I’m thinking wrong. B12 I’ll just add my supplement in. It’s just so difficult.

Vitamin/mineral deficiencies
I had
a
vitamin
b12 level done recently and it was just above the borderline/normal range. Not low enough to treat. Has anyone seen
a
link between
vitamin
b12 and iron levels and pbc? Thanks

Update: opinions please
Juat been told I have liw
vitamin
D.Could this be
a
reason my b12 was also low? I've read low vit D can effect B12 absorbtion. Is that correct?
