A little advice/ help

I have struggled with my periods from such a young age, meaning i had my first show at the age of 8 and then nothing until i was 17. After this, i have always been heavy and regular until about 5 years ago. 7 years ago i noticed excess hair growing on my arms and around my stomach area, this seemed to become worse about 3 years ago as i noticed the excess hair on my face, chest, back, legs and stomach. At this point, i appeared to put a few stone on of weight yet not changed anything.

During this i went back and forth to doctors for an explanation, but just got told i was overweight and needed to stop eating.

I went for my routine smear 3 years ago to be asked when my last period was, and at this point i couldnt remember. I figured out that i hadnt had a period for 3years 2 months. The nurses took some bloods and i was told by the GP, that i had PCOS but this wasnt an excuse to being fat.

After 1 year of trying slimming world and weight watchers i went back to my GP for further advice as i hadnt lost a pound, and i at some point i wanted to look at starting a family. I was then told that due to me being in a same sex relationship, they wouldnt waste the money on me, but could given metformin coz i paid for my prescription. I have been taken the metforim since, and this hasnt helped one bit.

The excess hair growth got that bad, that i now pay for lazer for my face, and i will be having most of my body completed.

I still havent had a period, and do suffer from a lot of pain in my pelvis/ ovaries area constantly however no period in site.

As you can imagine, i am finding it all stressful as it seems that they arent listening to me and generally dont care due to be being in a same sex relationship.

I am hopefully changing GP’s when i move, and i have all fingers crossed they send me for a scan at least.

As anyone got any tricks/ advice or guidance for me? Whether this is a pill i can start to take to help my periods?

Thanks in advance

Look at 'the answer to pcos' website - she has over 1000 babies now conceived after following her diet - she has spent 40 years researching diet and pcos and its the only diet I found really easy and the weight has stayed off. I lost two stone in 3 months (only had 3 stone to lose), two other ladies lost 7 stone in a year and both conceived naturally. Amazing diet.
