Does anyone have any medication that stops/manages excess hair growth? Mines got very bad especially on my arms and I’m really worried!

You can get vaniqa from the GP which is a cream and it slows down the speed of the growth, can take a few months to make a difference (it is expensive which is why GPs will not mention it). The combined pill will also slow it down considerably as well. I had laser on my face about 9 years ago maybe and it has made a massive difference, you do need to maintain it though as it will grow back. I had my last maintenance session about 3 years ago and need to go back for a top up as a few stubborn goaty hairs are starting to come back.

I am trying to make an appointment with my gp. I am have sooo much medication to start next month because I am starting my first round of ivf..not sure if they will prescribe me anything for this also. It’s getting me down. Getting to the point of embarrassing now. Mainly on my arms which I don’t really want to start waxing but I might have to x

you are extremely limited what you can use when TTC - the other thing to do is bleach the hair on your arms - I am sure it isnt as bad as you think it is. I've been waxing my legs for years and the hair is really sparce on them now
