I have had PCOS for the past 14 years, this was initially controlled with pills. I stopped taking the pill in 2012, and got pregnant naturally in 2013. My daughter is now 14 months old, but gosh! i have been having my period/spotting since March 2015 till date -- don't want to go back to the pill so for now, I am the biblical woman with the issue of blood :(

I hope you do too.

I found that yoga and healthy eating might have played a role, plus I got multi vitamins for my husband.

When not on pill( usually 1 month a year) i have no period , acne burts and I have this strange belly pain like exactly where dr usually makes the c section and I dont know if the muscles are vibrating or my uterus inside does. I fell like there is a baby there moving tho I knew thats not the case. I also have an incolor secretion once or twice that looks like snots , like white placenta which I also dont know what is.

On two occasions after months of no periods, I had what I recently discovered could be menorrhagia - bleeding so heavy I'm honestly scared about passing out in the middle of the office, or worse.

Ovary pain in absence of a period - feels like period coming on (like a couple of days before due) but no way of knowing if this is what it was as I'm too irregular to bother mapping it.

Mine not controlled. I'm not on any meds for this.

mine is not controlled at all- i have meds i take but they do not control my periods at all. went since 2014 without period and just started one yesterday, now i have no knowledge of when the period will stop if at all.

I always get a period within what's considered a normal timeframe to count as 'regular' but I never know how long it will last or which days will be heavy or light. Sometimes it stops, then starts up again a couple of days later.

Can't take the combined or mini pills. Nearly died on the former, stopped the latter as soon as similar symptoms appeared!

I have had PCOS since 2014, but I had been having heavy painful periods since I started my periods on my 13th (definitely unlucky for me) birthday (I am now 36). I have a daughter who is 16, but myself and my fiance haven't been able to have any children ourselves due to my PCOS. My periods vary from month to month as some months they are heavy and painful and other months They are really light. Although this year I went two months without having my periods (I wasn't complaining though as I prefer not to have them. My periods returned before I had a chance to buy a pregnancy test).
