Flax cookies

I made these today in my efforts to eat more flax. They are healthy and delicious. I'm really surprised how tasty they are. I used dates instead of raisins and baked them for 20 mins

Hey Ali this look scrumptious to me and I've all the ingredients so may have a bash at these later as they are so healthy as well.

Personally I'd have mine for afternoon tea and hope they weren't too moorish...😁Other wise it's a late dinner...😁

Thanks Debs. Your comment about flax oil reminded me I had a massive bag of flax in the cupboard. These are very tasty.

I've already printed the recipe off LOL.

I managed to get some Buckwheat flour today in Holland and Barrett, they kept it back for me - yay, some bread. No, there is no sign of spelt flour yet.

They really are delicious. I used dates and I really liked them. Nicer than they look. Especially nice when still warm but nice cold too 🙂

i will probably use dates too as I prefer them to raisins. Sadly don't have any dates at the moment...

Thank you. They are delicious when they are warm but also very tasty cold. I really liked them. I hope you do too! They are a bit like brownies. Gooey in the middle.
