Home made Vegan gluten free fruit bread.

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd experiment with some gluten free plant based bread baking as there's nothing like a challenge and this is my first attempt. I used a vegan egg replacer (it's plant cellulose) appart from that I used the same ingredients and this is how it turned out, it has sunk slightly in the middle but I used a mix of gram flour and GF bread mix so am pleased as its tastes nice, I love fruit bread and what makes this interesting is the crust as it has a mild crispness to it and the texture of the bread is good as is the taste and I'm looking forward to having some with a cup of tea later as it'll help to make up for the weather...😊

Aw thanks Ali, me too as it's passed the taste taste, as far as experiments go it was OK as its miserable when the smoke alarm goes off...😁

Ah but Jerry it's what it tastes like, not that it's sunk slightly. I haven't made a gluten free bread that is successful yet, ok in appearance but not in taste and texture.

Fortunately I'm very pleased to say that I can once again tolerate sourdough bread - yayπŸ˜€

That looks so professional Jerry and as Ali pointed out - quite a challenge. Your GF bread is amazing and that looks delicous
