I found this delicious looking recipe on line.

What do you think? I think this looks like a great recipe and the flavours would work well together.

NOTE: If you are GF and do not want to use coconut flour it has been pointed out that a straight swop to a different gf flour may not give a good result so here is a link to a gf base using a mixture of buckwheat and coconut flour which may give better results.... Hi Ali

I've just had a look at the ingredients. I've never tried Fennel but the recipe does sound good, like the flours he's used for the pastry.

The filling does sound good and looking at the photo it looks very tasty. This would be good for a much with a little salad on the side.

I’m glad you liked the look of this Alicia. When I make it I’ll just use what vegetables I’ve got to hand. I had fennel quite a lot at the beginning of the summer and I quite like it.

Ah well, now I'm on the computer and won't be typing in some kind of foreign text ha ha. I've heard that Fennel is a bit like Aniseed.

This tart will be good for a lunch (I typed much above!) rather than me constantly thinking I need some kind of bread.

I will now save the recipe.

Also, now I'm back home I'm going to go through the Vegan magazine I bought whilst away and pick out some recipes to make, I will post everything I try from the magazine - I pretty much like the look of all of the recipes :)

Hi Ali, this looks fantastic and what really bothers me is them saying use 200g of coconut flour or substitute with another GF flour. To me this would give a very different texture as coconut flour is much more absorbent than other flours. So I wanted to check a few things before answering hence the delay.

But I believe this would work as this recipe also using 1/2 soy and 1/2 coconut flour and this quiche is also GF and plant based:
