Hi Leah my favourite whole food shop is run by a Chilean family and they make interesting gluten free vegan goodies.

And I’ve a feeling that you speak Spanish...😊

This is interesting. Things really are changing. Animals have had a rough deal for so long. The more veganism takes on the less animals will be born to a life of misery and slaughter and that can only be a good thing.

I think it’s happening everywhere and it’s contagious as it’s an awareness of our failed western lifestyles and now taking responsibility. So as a result of this, a healty plant based diet is seen as the answer...πŸŽ‹

This makes perfect sense.

Buenos Aires has vegan options, but they're very hard to find when you're in smaller cities. I usually end up having salad or pasta if I have to eat out. Not many vegan choices, or any at all in most restaurants here :(

Hey I’m sorry CatsHelpMe, it’s interesting finding out what it’s like for others in different countries/continents so if ever you want tell us or have a rant about living in a meat orientated culture, then please do.

I think that more options will appear there, here’s a survival visitors guide to Argentina: theculturetrip.com/south-am...

I love the look of the stuffed avocado and followed by that brownie...😊

That's pretty accurate... people still find it strange if you say you're a vegetarian, let alone vegan. They'll ask if you then want chicken "No", "Fish?", "No" and so on. However, once they know you don't eat ANY meat or dairy products, they'll come up with something for you to eat (even something simple). Eating out is a bit more difficult if you want to try something new, they just don't have vegan proteins.

When I first stopped eating meat, I thought that I could go back to meat if I had no other choice to eat, but then I realized that my choice was strict and forever. It's harder to go vegan here (you never know when they put some cow derived ingredient in food) but not impossible.
