Nut milk + protein balls

Hey everyone🙂

This afternoon I made my almond milk and for the first time I used nut milk bag. From the left over nut mill made some protein balls. Added some melted coconut oil, cacao powder, ground almond, shredded coconut, dried fruit and some vanilla essence.

I wonder if anyone is using the nut mill and what do you make of it. Would be great to see some ideas😀

Thank you☺️ I did not use nut milk bag until today so just found out about nut pulp/ mill. Don’t like to waste food at all, this way actually I can save money too as I can make two type of food, nut milk and protein balls. Just had a quick look, nut pulp can be used in lots of ways. Cakes, pancake, crackers, breadcrumbs... 😀

Hi Aretak, this is looks fantastic I love the sound of the protein balls as I often bake with coconut oil and ground almonds and this is such a fantastic variation.

These look great. I think I will have to give them a go. Homemade nut milk is so much better than bought.

I make some more tomorrow but thought to put some gf oats in it too and maybe some dates as well. It’s good to experiment 😊

Yes, you’re right. Sometimes, it’s a great idea to do experiments with certain foods that you know you like and can eat. I do this every so often.😀
