I met a lovely lady today who was diagnosed with Vasculitis (WG GPA) 40 years ago this year. She has had 2 children since she was diagnosed, she is going for a nose reconstruction operation next year, she had a tracheotomy in 1994, she started treatment for her Vasculitis before Cylophos, Mycophenolate, Methotrexate and Rituximab were available for treating Vasculitis. she was amazing.... It was so interesting talking to her plus her daughter is getting married this year. :-)

That is fantastic as WG was not controlled in those days like it is today, i have had it 23 yrs and thought i was doing well. Congratulations to this lady and also her daughter on her getting married. This lady needs to be telling us what her secret has been .

Wow always great to hear of a story like this. I agree with Sandra, we need to know what the lady in question was taking and her lifestyle? Perhaps you could ask her to write it up on this site Susan?
