Thanks for the update, I do wonder about this Rituximab. My renal consultant works for NICE, so will probe him next time I see him (December). Would be interesting to hear his views on the drug.
I noticed that Dr David D'Cruz was mentioned in the newsletter. I had a second opinion from David D'Cruz, at St Thomas. A very good Rheumatologist if anyone is looking!

My doctor wanted to put me onto it BUT for the hospital says it is too expensive plus there are certain requirements and blood levels that affect patients getting it. My doctor could not get me onto it due to an application that has to be made and a blood level that is normal to me does not allow him to apply for me to have the medication and then the expense? hope this makes sense!
