Charley has Wegeners Granulomatosis. She had a rare severe reaction to Rituximab. Charley is now taking methotrexate as a maintenance medication.

"Well I found out after waiting a year that I can drive again!! Rituximab gave me seizures and the DVLA have finally said its ok! I have a job as a sailing instructor starting next week. I also have been in 5 sailing races over the last few weeks with 3wins and 2 seconds.(including beating a 2012 Olympic sailor) So it appears wegeners can be beat!!!! =D xxx"
