Is anyone taking cyclosporine and what has their experience been?

I am currently taking 200mg of cyclosporine daily and weening myself of Prednisolone for adult onset xanthogranuloma

I have noticed that I've become more anxious since being on these drugs

In 2006 I was up to 200mg Cyclosporin, as an extra treatment for cerebral vasculitis, in addition to Azathioprine. It pushed my blood pressure up, and was causing gum overgrowth. But we'd have put up with those side effects if it helped. But it didn't do enough to help with my disease, so I was then taken off it, and switched to Mycophenolate Mofetil (alongside Azathioprine). Good luck! You do need to talk to your medics about how you're getting on. Though beware anxiety can develop anyway, especially dealing with a long-term condition.

The pred will make u psycho and snappy.im like a monster on

20 +pred. Just hibernate and do some meditation.
