Fibromyalgia CFS CRPS p ANCA positive. Have been bedridden for 90% of the last 7 years. Just diagnosed with vasculitis ( systemic) I am broke financially I receive £450 pcm pip my mortgage is £577 pcm . Very depressed as I am worth more to family dead than alive ... there must be benefits for people like us ?? I have run my own business for 15 yrs paid all tax and NI now have zero to show for my life’s work apart from a illness that is killing me physically and mentally.

So sorry you feel this way..... If your health has changed or deteriorated you are entitled to reapply for PIP and other benefits. I will try and find the link which may help you with further information.

So sorry to hear of your predicament. I am in the US so I don't know the UK benefit system. But wanted you to know that you have my thoughts and prayers. You have a beautiful and interesting face and bone structure.

Anyone with that face has to keep on hoping. What business were you in? As an experienced business woman, can you start an online business you could run from home, from bed?? Just a thought.

Best....

Another user from the States so I apologize for not knowing what benefits might be available to you. Are you receiving mental health care?

I was diagnosed 5 years ago with MPA vasculitis and am currently in drug-induced remission (I receive bi-annual Rituxan treatments). My former life is, frankly, long gone. I recently started to see a behavioral therapist (once a week) and I'm scheduled to see a psychiatrist in July. Both are long overdue as the mental struggle has been equally as difficult as the physical.

Wishing you hope, courage and strength.

Michele
