My name is Carl but everyone knows me as "frogger ", I was diagnosed with Behcets in 1994, and it seems like it is getting worse. I am wondering it anyone has heard of this.Recently I am having "dry" mouth 24-7. I was referrref to you folks. Thanks for your help

Dry mouth has lots of causes, sometimes it can be due to medications such as amitriptilline etc.

There is an auto immune disease called Sjorgrens Syndrome which is a common " secondary condition " in patients with auto immune diseases. It causes the moisture producing glands to dry up and the main symptoms are dry eyes and mouth. The treatment is mainly to allieviate the symptoms, there are a number of saliva replacement gels and pastille that can be prescribed. It's important to get it treated as it can potentially do a lot of damage to the teeth.
