methotrexate and omazaprole

Can I take omazaprole continuously with Methotrexate?? I am currently on 25mg methotrexate weekly to control CSS

Hi I asked the same question a few weeks ago. The info from the pharmacy said they shouldn't be taken together. I called Stella at Addenbrookes and she checked with one of the consultants who said it was ok. Hope this helps.

I'm on sub cut methotrexate ,25mg once a week and take omeprazole 1 a day ,I have no problems,and consultant and gp never said not to take.We are all different tho.

extremely dangerous to take metotrexate with esomeprazole.

I was on omazaprole and cell cept for 7 years it affected my calcium and magnesium levels, had to come off both and have an urgent infusion, ok now on different Meds

I take methotrexate once a week and omeprazole daily, I take them at different times of the day with no problems, so far anyway.

I take folic acid 2 days after methotrexate which has helped with side effects.

I also take prednisolone, calcium and vitamin D.
