Is anyone having trouble when loggin in, Every time I go to the health unlocked ,Vasculitis site I have to log in ,even though I have requested to remain logged in.This may seem a small thing ,but it can be extremely irritating when it happens every single time you leave the site I have to say this is happening on my Apple iPad.

Yes Jack this happened to me and it was driving me mad but only on iPad not a desktop PC with XP.  Then the last time I upgraded the iOS it cured itself!

What still drives me mad is that health unlocked won't expand to cope with bad vision - nearly every other site does.  So writing this on iPad writes in such a small font that I can't edit it to see if I am wryting nonsense!

I am just a lurker on the site so this post is my first in three years!!

I can make it bigger on my iPad. I find I have to make it slightly smaller first and then I can expand it.

Hi Little Miss Piggy

I was going to ask you this a week ago but decided to see if i was doing something wrong first. All my settings seem okay. HU works impecibly on my XP desktop but i am still in a bind with the iPad. I wonder if you can explain how you make the text smaller?

Maybe we are talking at cross purposes! The HU emails will expand and reduce text size but it is when i click on the "See Post" it opens a new window in minute font and it is this that i cant make neither smaller nor larger. Is this the part that works for you or just the email?

I just close my fingers slightly on the screen then open them to make it bigger. If I just open them to make it bigger it does not seem to work. Good luck. I am in Safari when I do this.

I am having the same problem with text size not expanding. Large enough in e mail.

On my Appleipad and laptop I do not have to login every time, it automatically takes me to the communities I am a member of, but John has to log in every time on his laptop. Maybe it is something connected to your or the HU settings. I will check with HU and get back to you

Hi Suzy, Thankyou for your reply, prior to my posting on the Vasculitis site , I put out a general question about the log in, and found it is happening to a lot of people on various health unlocked sites,so perhaps a bigger problem overall.

Have you brought this to the attention of HU yourself? I will certainly bring it up with the other admins of the other HU communities.

Hi Susan, I have taken this up with HU early this week,and although they acknowledged my post I had no other reply ,so no nearer.

, it only began to really irritate today ,so thought I would do bit of a general enquiry, could have been something wrong at my end.I also have a laptop,so I will be checking that out later to see if it happens there. Generally I use the iPad as it,s quicker.

Hi, I have this trouble if I clear the  history section every day. Now I only have to log in when the history is cleared. Not a good solution, but when I asked HU  some time ago the answer was too complicated for me.  I use an iPad. Hope this works until you get it sorted out. Jen

Just tried my laptop for loggin in , no problems there ,so the problem ( which I still have ) is with the iPad, seems from the replies ( to this previously asked problem on HU ) there are a lot of us not able to stay logged in .Unfortunately I am not a technically minded user so have no idea how this might be rectified, so fingers crossed someone may have an answer.

Just for the record,  my experience is that on the computer I stay logged in but on my BlackBerry tablet, which I use more,  I have to log in every time I come back to the site even if it's only been a few minutes.  It's extremely exasperating !

I have the same this happen and yes, it is extremely frustrating. Had to log on to make this comment. It didn't used to be this way and it has decreased the amount of my participation. Not I just skim the postings and hardly ever log on to read an entire post as have to log on each and every time to read each one.  

I believe this change has made such a serious decrease in the effectiveness of the site. I complained about it about a year ago but no change. Oh, and my iPad and PC are both completely up to date.

My feelings are much the same as yours, and it can indeed spoil the participation of the site,my iPad also right up to date ( it was new at xmas so not old and worn out )

I have to log in on my IPad but my IPhone is OK now, I was having problems with phone but that seems to have resolved, even though both are using the same recent upgrade.

Further to my comment last week re not being able to stay logged in on the HU site, I did send a message via the help section of HU, and although it was acknowledged as received ,I have had no further reply ,Sorry that I can,t help anyone with an answer.

It would seem some members have no problems at all and others do. I will copy and paste this post link to the HU team and see what they come up with in reply. I will also speak to the other admins of the other communities and see if their members have the same problem. I personally do not have a problem with either iPad or laptop now so it could be to do with your own settings on your own 'machine ' , but I will check.
