Genetic testing for RA, maybe a test for vasculitus one day!

It's not a great leap of imagination to expect this sort of testing will be able to test for vasculitus one day?

The Daily Mail are very naughty in that they make it look like the test covers osteo arthritis. Even the photo looks like it is of someone wih osteo not rheumatoid. RA is an auto immune disease and can affect people of all ages not just the old.

Thanks for posting it though luggsey, you are right it may be vasculitis one day.

Normal for the people's Medical Journal isn't it? They don't know the difference between OA and RA - but you rarely see that much damage in RA these days already with the wide range of DMARDs providing they start using them early enough. And they only touched on the primary problem: they will need to develop new drugs. Cue lots of money required.

Like the sound of the tens-type machine though.
