Just back from our busy social meeting today at the Balloon Tree Cafe in Gate Helmsley just outside York. Great to meet old friends and some newly diagnosed folk, I hope you all enjoyed chatting to everyone as much as we did. Many thanks to Jennifer for all her work in organising the day and thanks too to Lynne, Sam and Suze for their help and support.

There'll be more meetings coming up later in the year and we may even try to fit in a few social meets in some of the further flung reaches of Yorkshire in the meantime :)

We would like to thank Richard, Jennifer and team for such a warm and friendly welcome to our first vasculitis meeting at Gate Helmsley on sunday. We really enjoyed meeting and chatting with other people who live with and handling this horrible disease. We left on a "high" realising we were not alone anymore and we look forward to attending more local meetings in the future.
