Vasculitis Education Day December 4th

Just wanted to say that the Vasculitis Education Day in Manchester was excellent. It was attended by about 112 doctors, nurses and patients. ( about 10 patients ) .

The speakers were :-

Dr Phil Riley - Paediatric and Adolescent Vasculitis

Dr Hedley Emsley - Neurological Involvement of Connective Tissue Disease and Vasculitis

Prof Ian Bruce - Rituximab in Vasculitis, Sharing Good Practice

Prof Raashid Luqmani - Assessment of Small Vessel Vasculitis

John Mills - A Patient's Experience

Prof Robert Moot - Behcets Disease

Prof Lorraine Harper - Co- Morbidities in ANCA Associated Vasculitis

Prof Justin Mason - Takayasu Disease, Large Vessel Vasculitis ( GCA )

The whole day was filmed and should be available on the VUK website in the New Year
