Oh, yes. But, that's been a problem for me since before starting it (probably from being on Prednisone for 2 years before starting CellCept). I've been 2500 mg daily since Oct. 2012.

thank goodness I can blame the pills for my forget fullness I am on 15mg of prednisolone and 2000gm of Cellcept. I have vasculitis of the eyes and am being investigated for renal as well.

Yes - I was going to say that some people have problems with just pred, never mind adding in other medications! "Steroid brain fog" it's usually called. Pain in the anatomy!

shall just add it to the list like the hot flushes etc. I am taking more pills to stop the side effects of the meds than treatment!!!

Out of interest - what???? Sometimes they get so bogged down with pills for the side effects they just cause even more!

adcal and alendronic acid for bones omeprazole for stomach and stuff for the high blood pressure that may be due to renal vasculitis oh and steroid nasal spray for the blocked nose!! good job I have a pre paid prescription or would cost a fortune

I've never taken AA (well 6 tablets and then I refused, GP agreed) nor omeprazole. And my bone density hasn't changed in 4 years on over 10mg of pred. Careful with e the nasal spray - you can develop rebound stuffiness!

I'm on 50mg prendisolone for gca and my short term memory is bad, I have to look in my diary every morning to see what I'm doing.Im also glad I've got a pre paid prescription as all the tablets I'm on would cost a fortune,I think with what we suffer from we should be exempt from paying as if you suffer with diabetics or thyroid etc you are exempt but we are not, also I suffer with asthma and I'm not exempt with that, I don't know how they work it out.

I'm on azathioprin and prednisolone down to 5mg but I've noticed over the last few weeks my short term memory and attention span seems to be getting worse . When the prednisolone is stopped will this get better?

that's what I like about this site we can share our concerns even if they seem trivial.

I don't know if the short term memory is due to the pred or cellcept but am due to reduce to 10mg of pred this week though cellcept remains at 2gms daily
