Just been diagnosed with the above (just to add to the list of things wrong with me). I understand, from Googling it, that it is a form of arthritis of the neck.
Does anyone else have this and how do you cope with it?

Hi Berkshire, I do feel for you I was diagnosed with what is now know as cervical spine spondylosis (it was called cervical spondylitus in my day) which is a very painfull condition of not only the neck buts all along the spine. I am afraid there is not much you can do except, a hot compress on the affected area when the pain is to much and my consultant prescribed Pregabalin although this does not take away the pain it does make it a bit more bearable. I was diagnosed with the spondylitus before I was found to have WG. Hope this helps and hope you are not in too much pain.
Dave
Thanks Dave. Info much appreciated.
hi I have c5 spondylosis found physio really helpful as part of the problem is the muscles tense up and make symptoms worse. Also I know what aggravates ie over reaching for stuff and looking upwards to much can set it off. Good luck perhaps ask for some physio.
