What would be your first piece of advice to someone newly diagnosed with Asthma?

Hello Community Moderator and Everyone Else

My advice is to learn the relationship between asthma and physical exercise. Exercise can improve or worsen asthma symptoms depending on how it is done. I offer my years of experience dealing with this in my book, "Running with Asthma: An Asthmatic Runner's Memoir," available on amazon.com.

Yours for better breathing,

John Terry McConnell
