Is a blood sugar level reading of 7.4 pre diabetes ?? It was took in the afternoon.

You cannot tell much from one BG test. What did you have for lunch? Was it 2 hours after you had eaten or drank coffee or tea with milk or had a soft drink that had sugar in?

Ok, I have done the test maybe a couple of weeks apart twice now, both in the afternoon so a few hours after I had ate, and both was the same result. Thanks for your reply

If you had eaten before NO. If you had just finished a Marathon NO.
