Hi Everyone,

I've been busy, busy organising etc so I'd like to share some of what I've been up to with you all. Firstly thank you to every one who came along to our last meeting, Bongo Dave had a ball and really enjoyed working with you guys and would love to come back again. Try stopping him, lol! There's some nice pictures of you all drumming away on our Facebook group. facebook.com/groups/1069986...

So here in chronological order is what I've been up to busy plotting....

Monday will see the arrival of our mugs, I'm quite excited, they will cost £7 from our "craftics" website, that price includes the cost of postage and packaging, or £5 from me in person (at the next meeting for example, but please let me know in advance). Here's the website so you can have a look - craftics.moonfruit.com/#

Monday sees the start of "Arts all over the Place" which will be at the Custard Factory in Birmingham for 2 weeks, there will be some of our stuff available to buy, cards, jewellery and TA wristbands and some free leaflets to raise awareness.

Saturday 20th October meeting time again, this time in our Birmingham city centre hide-out, this meeting is for adults and older kids. Please let me know if you'd like to come along. facebook.com/events/2847324... Call me, text me, email me etc, just let me know.

Saturday 1st December There will be a TA conference, it will be held at Birmingham Uni, the tickets are available on the TA website, the conference is for 18+ only, 16+ would need to accompanied by an adult, After the conference the will be a post-conference event type thing which I'm in the process of organising, there will be lots of fun and entertainment, a buffet and music from Cov 2Tone band The Swinging Cats, who were formed by ex Specials / Special AKA / Colourfield members. Should be good, I'm looking forward to it so dig out your docs, braces and pork pie hats!! I'll provide more info as I get it.

25th & 26th May Who fancies taking part in a fundraising trek from London to Brighton? I thought I might have a go, I need to get fit, so please, please join me!! Follow the link for more info. tourettes-action.org.uk/sto...

That's it for now I think, if you need to get in touch for anything at all please don't hesitate me.

Do you know how I could get from B'ham main train station to the Uni? I might be coming to the conference with my Mum and that's where the train stops. It would be great to see you again :)

When you get to New St station you can get a train there, usually platform 10 (at the moment as they're doing some work there, but I'll let you know if that changes) get the train to Longbridge, it only takes about 5-10 mins as the University station is the 2nd. I'm sure Julie will sort out some maps showing where the venue is closer to the time.
