Tourettes in middle aged adults

I would like to enquire from older TS patients (45 years and above) as to their level of cognitive functioning and employability at this time of life. In a nutshell , any worsening of comorbidities and not as relates to tics.

Hi. Pushing 50, never know what's age or TS so good question! Depression and anxiety, but I have things to be depressed and anxious about, so...

I do feel more assertive and comfortable with aspects of my TS compared to when I was younger though.

Thanks for the reply. I am 57 and have currently been on temporary disability for a year due to cognitive function below standard required for my job.

I take it you are fully employed by your response.

I work as a Psychotherapist, so I generally feel free to tic in front of workmates (but not patients so much).
