Yes, I have painful red eyes and extremely puffy eyelids with swelling into eyebrows. Dr sent me for MRI and then showed it to me. My eyeballs exceed the area where they should be and one lid doesn't close all the way and due to the pressure of the eyeball going forward the whites above iris show. I hate it. Dr. set me up for surgery for the eyelid repair and said we may need to do decompression surgery later. Since that is a very intense and complicated surgery, he suggested holding off on that to see if doing this helps eliminate some of the pain, swelling and redness. My tear ducts are defective too, they just spontaneously start watering and drip on my face, this happens about 5-6 times a month, so not a daily thing, thank heavens. I now where tinted prescription lenses all the time as the sun and bright lights causes more pain and it protects others from having to look at them. Dr. says he believes this is a severe cause of Graves Opthamology. One eye looks a lot bigger than the other due to the pushing out of its socket. You can google it and you will see what I mean. Anyone on here ever have any of these surgeries for Graves?
