hi yes u not alone i get shaky leggs and a twitch at night. cheers paul

Mine are 'jelly legs' especially when I try to do a long walk (I used to be the first up the hill) now I just grumpily wait at the bottom :(

they don't hurt as much now 'tho after Vitamin D supplementing, but I'd like new ones please.

Hi Make sure your Vit D ( hormonal) is OK. Leg problems, especially ascending stairs are very common with low vit D and it often goes with thyroid disease. if GP will not test, cheap £25 test at City hospital, Birmingham , finger prick. Same tests as NHS but much quicker than my surgery! If low then you need a calcium test for corrected calcium not the other one) and treatment with D, if possible on a script. repeat tests for both 3 monthly until stable. D usually taken for life unless calcium goes out of range when it must be stopped.

Best wishes,

Jackie

I get very shaky legs. I only have to walk up the stairs and they feel heavy and full of lead.If I go for a walk I feel like I have done a marathon. They also feel as if they are not connected to me (biazrre I know!) They tingle and vibrate too.

Am just starting out on Erfa, wondering whether its going to help.

I am really really hoping Erfa will help. Am only on half grain at the moment. I seem to have more neuro symptoms than anything else and that worries me. My balance is shocking. I so want an end to this nightmare.

Good luck with the Erfa lizzie1 - hopefully this will be the answer for you. My symptoms were more neuro than anything else and I had terrible vertigo. I had to raise very, very slowly but am now at 2.5 grains and feeling well :) xxx

Thank you Clare for your reply.

I still worry that I have some horrid un-diagnosed brain problem as my balance is so awful. Then there is the tingling and vibrating. Just started the Erfa last week and only on a tiny dose. Going back to private doc in 4 weeks when he said he will probabaly increase the dose.

I have put so much faith in this tiny tablet! Just hope it works.
