cough medicine and levo

Id forgotten all about my blood test on tuesday, and have been taking covonia cough medecine to get rid of gunk on my chest, for the last 3 days, will it have any effect on my ttest results do you think, i usualy have a tft calcium and liver function, Id normaly ask the pharmacist at the chemist but havent been out due to feeling crappy so just took what i found in the cupboard which was covonia, many thanks in advance xx

I cannot find the full details at this moment - and it depends precisely which version of Covonia you have been using. Some are recommended not to use with levothyroxine at all.

Doubt whether it is a dramatic effect - but possibly could affect test.

Probably very little effect but, yes, do mention it (doubt they will have any idea what to do or say about it), and if results are in any way surprising, well, this could have had an impact.

Normally I would have suggested getting in touch with the people who make it - but their web-site is not available so have not found email address, phone, etc.
