Taking your thyroid tablets at night.

After reading a blog recently about taking tablets at night in stead of the morning. Which was when I usually took mine washed down with water and a cup of coffee and toast to follow in about another half hour. I wrote on the blog and got an answer from Rod with useful advice that made sense. Advising not eating and drinking 2 hours either side. I have taken my tablets at night for the past three nights and have not woken with aches and pains in my arms or pins and needles in my hands.

I have however been falling asleep in the evenings earlier than usual.

That is good.

In a while, once you have more fully adapted, that might change. Though quite possibly you need a little more to keep you going right through.

I found I slept better, which was a surprise. A couple of times I've had to swap it to the morning and didn't sleep as well, which also took me by surprise.

Yes me too, first night I was worried about that but it would appear without needing to.I am finding I am tired in the day though maybe it's just the winter cold. Roll on spring I'm sure everyone will feel happier.
