Charity Auction - Thyroid Awareness Day or Month

Hi,

Is there a national thyroid awareness month or day? If so, when is it please?

I make sock monkeys for a living and I would like to auction one off with all the proceeds going to the thyroid charity.

I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction for contacts etc.

If anyone is interested in bidding, I will post a link to the details once the monkey has been made.

The charity Thyroid UK that runs this forum, has a 'Thyroid Awareness Week' every year in October. I'm not sure what the actual date is for this year. You can contact Lyn and Louise through the main website here

Seems like I have some time left yet to make one then lol - I was hoping it wasn't going to be beginning of March as I have five orders to get done by the end of this week!
