Will be very interesting to see IF the GMC and RCP reply, and if so what that reply is

I just watched the petition. So great, hopefully it could be the start of change.

Yes, many thanks for all the effort and hard work so many have put in. Unfortunately my brain energy levels are far form up to scratch. Can be going along nicely - then something comes along and "sucks" all the energy away leaving me feeling like a wet rag. However, I did manage finally to get a letter off to my local MP and have emailed his secretary. Am awaiting a response. Someone on another blog mentioned they awaited results of a salive test --- NHS will not accept that because they do no do them. This is something else that needs to be addressed.
