Hi. Can anyone tell me if I should stop taking my thyroid medication before going to have blood tests done. I am being tested for T4,free t3, urate levels and tsh.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks, Kay.

If you take Armour at night - don't take it. If you take it in the morning, take it after your blood test.

Yes I have bloods 6 weeks or closer and have experimented, definitely do not take thyroid meds or Beta blockers on the morning of test, until afterwards.
