I have been taking thyroxine for 10 years, after my previous blood test the level was too high and I agreed to reduce it. The last blood test taken last week now has my level at acceptable but my doctor now says I have an autoimune problem but I can't rember what he said it was. can anyone give me any info on this please

rather than us guessing why don't you write your self a list of questions and then phone your surgery and ask for a telephone call from the same dr at a time when you will be at home so when the dr phones you have your list to ask questions from and pen and paper to write down the answers :)

Thyroid is an auto-immune condition plus its quite common that once one starts others follow.
