I am looking to see if there are any other mothers out there who passed graves disease onto their baby through antibodies during pregnancy? I passed it onto my LO and unfortunately there isnt much information or advice from my local hospital, which can be really frustrating!

Well I have no knowledge or experience - and it is not the most common topic. This is one site which has some information:

It is NOT an easy read.
Wishing you both well.

I had Graves and passed on a lot of hormonal problems to my second son (first son OK and so was I then). While pregnant with my daughter ll months after my second son I had to have an emergency sub-total thyroidectomy at 14 weeks pregnant and she was born normal. Also went through a normal birth unlike the one before which was a caesarean section. So no, I haven't really passed on Graves (my daughter is now 34 years old) and so far, so good. She has also had two sons within the last 4 years who are well.
Not what you're looking for?
