Sleep and Thyroid medications

I always split and take my thyroid meds in two doses 5am and 2pm and every morning at 5am when I take my first dose I fall back to sleep for 3 hours however my afternoon dose does not do this to me …. I thought about taking a dose at bedtime (11pm) but I take Magnesium at 9pm and take Advil just before bed and I know this isn’t a long enough distance from thyroid meds but now Im wondering if my morning dose makes me sleep because I actually have no other drugs in my system versus the afternoon dose which I do.

At 5am my body is in sleep mode anyway so no wonder you go back to sleep?

I too have noticed that I fall into deeper sleep after taking my thyroid meds ( T3 -10mgs ( split 2 times a day ) and T4 -100 mgs. I am usually awake from around 2.00 ish. One day, I accidentally took my thyroid medication at 3.00a.m ( forgot to reset my clock). I slept deeply that night. Usually this does not happen with me. Puzzled I tried doing this for a few times. The result was the same. I of course now have a dilemma of when to take the next dose. Any advise anyone?

Thats me I take my first dose at 5am and Im out like a light until 8am. My second dose does not produce the same results.
