Can you please supply the ranges (in brackets after results) for each test as these can vary between laboratories Lisajane747.
Have you had FT3 tested? This would give a more complete picture of your thyroid health.
It is highly likely you will need a further increase in thyroid medication to get TSH under 2 and FT4 higher in range, but members will need to see ranges to offer better advice.
Regarding menopause advice, it may be useful to have a look at Dr Louise Newson’s free Balance App, as I find it really useful for comparing medications & having up to date research articles. There is also an ability to post questions.

So is the Lloyds own brand Northstar?
Is your 25mcg extra tablet also Northstar? If so this will be made by Teva and the 100mcg tablet is made by Accord. The 25mcg Teva made tablet is the make that causes adverse reactions with many members here, this appears to be because it contains mannitol instead of lactose. So if this is the case it might be beneficial to ask for Northstar 50mcg (which are made by Accord, same as the 100mcg tablet) and cut it in half to give you 25mcg or take the 50mcg alternate days for the extra 25mcg.

The unit of measurement for this will be nmol/L and the level recommended by the Vit D Council, Vit D Society and Grassroots Health is 100-150nmol/L with a recent blog post on Grassroots Health recommending at least 125nmol/L.
You might want to check out a recent post that I wrote about Vit D and supplementing:
and you can check out the link to how to work out the dose you need to increase your current level to the recommended level.
Your current level of 79nmol/L = 31.6ng/ml and working out the dose they recommend you'll see it is 2,500iu daily but you say you're taking 125mg D3 which is 5,000iu. I imagine you started this dose when our level was 48nmol/L so I would stay on the higher dose until your level reaches 125-150nmol/L and then consider finding your maintenance dose.
Are you also taking D3's important cofactors - magnesium and Vit K2-MK7? The magnesium helps the body convert D3 into it's usable form.
Are you taking your D3 4 hours away from your thyroid meds, likewise the magnesium?
Vit B12 (145-914) 431 supplements 125mg daily
I think the unit of measurement for this test is ng/L or pg/ml. If this is the case then your level is too low and according to an extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:
"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".
"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."
I don't understand the amount of B12 you are taking, have you got this mixed up with your D3? B12 comes in mcg (micrograms) not mg (milligrams) - 1mg = 1,000mcg so it's not really possible to have a dose of B12 of 125,000mcg neither would it be 125mcg if it's a stand alone B12 supplement. The usual dose of B12 supplements is 1,000mcg or 5,000mcg in a stand alone B12 supplement. Can you please clarify exactly what you are taking?
TSH 8.05 ( 0.38-5.33)
T4 13.3
It's difficult to fully interpret these results without a reference range for your FT4 test. However, did you do the test as we advise:
* No later than 9am
* Nothing but water before the test to avoid any food or drink affecting TSH
* Last dose of Levo 24 hours before test to avoid a false high or false low FT4 level
* No Biotin, B Complex or any supplement containing biotin for 3-7 days before the test
If you did then your TSH is far too high and should be at most no more than 2 but most people need it 1 or below.
It's possible there may be assay interference which has given a false high TSH result but it's difficult to say much more because we can't interpret your FT4 result.
I can't help with the sex hormones but the above comments hopefully will be helpful.
So request GP alter 25mcg prescription to 50mcg and explain you will cut 50mcg tablets in half to get 25mcg in order to stay on Accord brand levothyroxine
While you wait…..assuming you have enough 100mcg Accord - cut one into 1/4 tablet and take 1/4 each day to give extra 25mcg
meanwhile put in a yellow card for Teva brand levothyroxine
