carbimazole and bloating

Hi Minky I have Graves’ disease and have been taking carbimazole since early May of this year I’m still on a high dose 40mg a day and I haven’t had any bloating thankfully, I actually lost weight but swapped a few foods to gluten free such as breakfast cereal and biscuits which may have helped. I’m now on block and replace so take levothyroxine as well as carbimazole and my skin is beautiful, I am quite careful about what I eat and definitely no chocolate as that makes me sweat and my heart flutters, it took about 4 weeks for the carbimazole to really take affect.
