When thyroid medication and key vitamins are not optimal, aches and pains can be troublesome. It’s hard to say if your back pain is directly linked to your thyroid, as back pain is such a common ailment. I always find magnesium salts in the bath helps with back pains.
Reading your post from a month ago, I’m unsure what your current dose of thyroid medication is/ if you followed advice to supplement with a B Complex etc. it’s always useful to retest 6-8 weeks after a dose change.
Hi Buddy195 yes I was retested and my vitamins were good Vit D 90. I’m still supplementing. I increased my eltroxin to 89 daily and continued on the Thybon 10 in the morning and 5 at lunchtime. I’m repeating my thyroid bloods on Monday it’ll be 6 weeks. I have a feeling my ft4 could still be low and thought that might be contributing to the muscle pain.🙏
Do post your results when you get them; it could well be that low FT4 is a contributing factor.
I also supplement daily with magnesium as I find this helps me relax and eases any pains. I take magnesium glycinate as I find this gentle on the stomach, although there are plenty of options to choose from. Some members prefer magnesium salts in bath & others like magnesium lotions you can apply direct to skin.
