Some test results are back! - But I’m not sure if any are interesting at all!

Reference:

⬆️ = Has gone up since previous test

⬇️ = Has gone down since previous test

❗️ = outside of range

No thyroid yet.. but some values are abnormal or in the higher range..

Vit D 71 (30-200) ⬆️- taking 4,000iu a day

Serum B12 681 (191 - 663) ⬆️❗️

Folate 8.7 (3.9 - 26.8) ⬆️ supplementing

Ferritin 66.7 (30 - 400) ⬆️❗️

Total Cholesterol 4.8 (1.5 - 5.2) ⬇️

Triglycerides 1.26 (0 - 2.26) ⬇️

HDL 0.97 (1.15-1.68) ⬇️❗️

LDL 3.3 (0 - 3) ⬆️❗️

Non-HDL 3.8 (none) ⬇️

Alkaline phosphate 63 (30 - 130) ⬇️

Inorganic phosphate 1.89 (0.8 - 1.5) ⬆️❗️

ALT 10 (0 - 33) ⬆️

Differential White cell count ⬆️ (overall all values have increased Monocytes and promyelocyte last number or top range)

Platelet 416 (150 - 400) ⬆️❗️

Plasma ACTH “No Result”

The cholesterol thing is a bit weird.. I know it’s possibly a hypo symptom.. but the overall level has gone down (good) but the HDL has worsened and it’s weird because I eat a lot of good fat and not so much rubbish as I’m doing Keto. (I eat lots of avocados, coconut oil, peanut/almond butter, salmon, mackerel, eggs etc)

I’m also confused as to why my B12 is elevated (it was historically 781, 815, 556 and now 681 - Sam ref ranges).

Do the above tell you anything? 🤔

Oudmood,

Sorry you haven't received a timely response but hope your subsequent posts have offered you others opinions. If not, my answering will move this post onto todays 'Daily Feed'. Alternatively you are welcome to repost.

I did indeed!

I didn’t realise that when you edit the post it creates a new post!

Or maybe there’s a glitch on the app 🤷‍♀️

It doesn't. If you are editing a post you click on MORE below the original post, click on EDIT, make changes then click EDIT RESPONSE. That then makes the changes to the original post in the original thread, it doesn't create a new post that starts another thread nor a new post in the original thread.

It did for me when I did this exact thing..

(I didn’t post the same thing 3 times! 😅)

I think it’s a glitch/bug of the iPhone app.

I am experiencing other few bugs compared to the online forum i can access on my phone..

The HU app is "currently under reassessment", there were so many problems with it. I don't have a smart phone, prefer the old fashioned tried and tested way myself so my replies are based on what to do on a PC.

HU say this in their help centre:

How do I edit a post or reply?

If you have submitted a post or have replied to one, you can edit your content at any time.

For desktop users:

1. To see all of your past content, access your profile page by clicking on your profile picture on the top menu and selecting "Profile" from the drop-down options

2. On that page, click on either "Posts" or "Replies" depending on what you would like to see and select on the one you want to edit

3. Once you have opened the post/reply/poll with the content you would like to edit, click on the arrow next to the “Like” button and then select “Edit”

4. Once you are happy with how you have edited your post or reply, click the "Submit" button

For mobile users:

1. To see all of your past content, access your profile page by selecting your profile picture in the top left corner of your screen and then selecting "Profile" on the menu that appears

2. Follow the steps from 2. for desktop users
