Experiment and take it when it suits you, there are no rules about when to take it other than to take it on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after food (maybe 3 hours if taking in the evening and that is when you have your main meal), with water only and water only for an hour each side. Keep away from all other medication and supplements by 2 hours, although some need 4 hours (calcium, iron, Vit D, magnesium, HRT, oestrogen, omeprazole, etc).

Some members take it on waking, some take it at bedtime, I take mine in the early hours of the morning, often around 5am, when I regularly need a bathroom trip, that keeps it away from all food, drink and medication/supplements.
