Autoimmune disease does not increase risk from Covid 19

A study came out recently, looking at people hospitalised with Covid 19 and found that pre-existing autoimmune diseases did not increase risk from Covid 19:

I know it's been a question raised many times so although it would have been nice to know sooner, I thought it might bring some comfort to people now.

After all the lies, non-truths and blatant nonsense that I have received from my GP, endocrinologist, CCG and the MHRA, I am totally unprepared to accept anything they or anybody else now say about thyroid issues. I will continue to believe that Covid19 does have a detrimental effect upon those suffering from autoimmune disease or any other other thyroid condition, including mine of having no thyroid gland at all.I regret I must now say this as before my goitres I actually believed doctors to be honest, sincere and dependable.

I'm sorry you feel this way :(

I would just highlight that the study was based on all autoimmune disease, and not specifically on thyroid patients.

I don’t believe anything the MHRA say especially now that that they are the only ones that pass all medications coming into the UK and all the trials that’s going on.

Oh interesting! It may be because it was a link I clicked on from an email, and it seems to have had email redirect as part of the link.

This might work:

Thanks cooper27 but that won’t work on my phone either. Since I’ve had my new iPhone so many links won’t work and come up with 400 error. I’m sure it’s my phone and not the link. It’s very annoying lol as I’ve never had this problem before on any of my other iPhones

Hopefully his website will give you more info. 🌻 His book explains things simply. You may not agree with everything he writes but there are also some good points in his book .... helping us to understand efficacy percentages which are always a mystery to me ! He is not anti- v@xx ...
