Hmm tsh ??

Morning all soo iv got a quick question hoping someone might be able to help with, just had my next blood results back only Tsh Ft4 and ft3

TSH 0.28 (0.27 - 4.2)

FT4 17.3 (12 - 22) 53%

FT3 5.5 (3.1 - 6.6) 64%

My question is, should I push for an increase in Levo, the issue will have is my tsh will drop abnormaly low which is all the GP goes on.

I'm not feeling particularly great at the moment hence the tests etc all the classic signs of under medication.

Thanks again everyone

Mike

Vitamins from Previous post

Vit D 57 (50-250)

Foltate 5 (3-20)

Ferritin 117 (20-300)

B12 364 (180-900)

Obviously vitamin D, folate and B12 far too low

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

These need retesting

Aiming for vitamin D at least around 80nmol and around 100nmol maybe better

B12 at least over 500

Folate at least half way through range

Are you also on absolutely strictly gluten free diet

Do you always get same brand of levothyroxine Which brand

Was this test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Hi SlowDragon, so I'm currently taking b12 and vit d supplements, I'm not currently on a gluten free diet, I had a Ana test carried out to which the endo said to not worry about gluten free diet, the 150mg of levo is I belive "accord" little gold box. I take it 6am every morning 1 hour before any food etc. I took the test at 8am the next day (26hrs after last dose) before my next dose of levo. My concern is the relationship between the mid range t3/t4 and the low Tsh. I'm wondering if this could be rated to the pituitary or primarily down to the high TPO?

When did you last get Vit D Ferritin, B12 and Folate tested. You would be much better to concentrate on getting them optimal before tinkering again with thyroid dose.GF diet is recommended even if ANA test doesn’t indicate inflammation. It will help with antibodies and possibly other symptoms. My antibodies reduced significantly after going GF.
