I have been taking natural desiccated thyroid for the last 20 years for my under active thyroid. Supplies are drying up and I am anxious to know where I can get some. I have been taking Thyroid S or Thiroyd. I have never taken thyroxine, but am concerned that maybe my only option. I have heard of Tru Thyroid, but have no idea where to purchase it from. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thiroyd stopped being produced last year and is no longer available.
Thyroid-S has been unavailable for many months but I have recently heard that it is now being produced again and should start to become available any time now although it is more expensive than before. If you contact your usual supplier of Thyroid-S or the manufacturer themselves they may be able to give you more information.
Tru Thyroid apparently wasn't particularly effective for most people when it was first launched and I understand the producer was working on reformulating it. A Google search should find it.
